“I lived in Dahra at the time and my friend who knew I loved music said I should go out and see this and that’s when we arrived to the scene”
Alaa a young boy who loves to listen to blues recalls the day when he witnessed burning of western instruments in the main square of Tripoli Libya, after a campaign led by the regime against “Cultural invasion” that campaign evolved to reach also learning western languages including English in schools for a number of years.
Alaa talks about his experience as a musician and his inspiration and how they dealt with the situation of the country at the time and how he deals with it at the moment.
